Claudia Ware - Author

Claudia’s love for the written word has taken her on a journey of writing exploration. From authoring a play at age eleven, to winning a high school essay contest, to writing a sports column for a local newspaper, each experience inspired her to continue to put pen to paper. Known as the “reading grandma,” she wrote children’s stories to entertain her grandchildren. However, she entered the world of publishing with two novels before returning to children’s books. Her short stories have received numerous awards, and have appeared in several anthologies. Claudia served as president of the Appalachian Authors Guild for two years. She is also a member of the Lost State Writers Guild. Claudia is the Executive Director of Heart for Broken Women, a ministry directed to women in distress. She has taught psychology courses at several universities. Claudia is available to speak at women’s teas, luncheons, retreats, and conferences. In addition, she reads in elementary schools.
